Obituary For Anita White

Anita White, 75 of Memphis, Tennessee fell asleep in her Master’s arm on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, in Memphis, Tennessee.

Born Sunday, December 28, 1947 in Memphis, TN, she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Ada Barber Jackson.

She was an educator in legacy Memphis City Schools for over 30 years. Anita was a lifelong member of Georgian Hills Church, formerly Ayers Street. She leaves a legacy of love with her husband John W. White. Sr. of 51 years and four beautiful children: John Jr., Janika, Jonathan, and Justin. Anita also leaves behind two darling grandchildren: Julia and Jonah. She also leaves her mother Claudia Jackson along with her two sisters: Rhonda Walker and Charlene Harvey (Dwight) and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends Saturday, January 28, 2023 for a service celebrating her life, legacy, and love at 11:00am Bloomfield Full Gospel Baptist Church 123 South Pkwy W, Memphis, TN 38109.

Interment will follow in New Park Cemetery, 4536 Horn Lake Road Memphis, TN.

Mrs White was such a sweet sweet Christian. Lady. Loved her family and everyone she met. I had the pleasure of teaching. John Jr Piano. She and her husband were wonderful Piano Parents. She will live forever in the hearts ❤️of everyone she touch Love and Prayers for family
