Obituary For Minister Robin Dorothea Miller

Robin Dorothea Miller passed away on Wednesday January 25th, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 29th 1965 in Spartanburg County SC and was the daughter of Dorothy Bell Miller and William Chambers. She worked in the medical field as an OST-Med for 19yrs. She was a member of Lower Shady Grove Baptist Church where she served faithfully as a Minister (preacher) of the Gospel, a trustee, on the teacher’s ministry, the praise team & choir, the Health & Wellness Ministry, the Youth Ministry, and as a former YWA member. She was a graduate of Spartanburg Community College where she earned her Associates Degree and a graduate of Carolina College of Theology where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree. She worked hard and loved harder! Her life will forever be cherished & her spirit will live on in her 10 grandchildren & in her 4 children: Marsha Davis, Spartanburg SC; Kendra (Zebulun) Lyles, Boiling Springs SC; Cherelle (Roger) Miller, Boiling Springs SC; Marquet Elijah Miller, Spartanburg SC. She is survived by her sisters, Marian Dawkins, Sandra Evins, Karen Butler, & Debra Hayes & a host of nieces nephews cousins and friends.

Service will be held on Sunday, January 29, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Lower Shady Grove Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

We were blessed to have known Miss Robin. We went to church with her and she taught my children in Sunday School. She was an amazing person and teacher. Everyone loved her and her humbling spirit. She will be forever missed and we are grateful for the memories. You'll be forever in our hearts, Robin. Take your rest, until we meet again.
