Celebration of Life Services for Mrs. Sylvia Dillard, of Flovilla, Georgia will be held Sunday, January 29, 2023, 4:00 PM at Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 709 S. Mulberry Street Jackson, Georgia 30233. Pastor Kevin Gibbs, Presider and Bishop Dreyfus C. Smith, Officiant.

Remains will be placed in-state at 3:00 PM

Interment: West View Cemetery, 1680 Westview Drive SW Atlanta, Georgia 30310 at 12:00 PM on Monday, January 30, 2023

Mrs. Sylvia Dillard leaves to cherish her loving memory, her husband of 62 years, Robert Dillard; 4 children: Robin Alexander, Lauren Dillard, Lawrence Dillard (Tanya), Chantesia Dillard; 6 grandchildren: Dwight Alexander, II (Shayla), Jelena Alexander, Bianca Smarr, Lerone Erwin, Tiana Erwin, Leslie Green; 3 great-grandchildren: Dwight Alexander, III, Charlotte Alexander, Logan, Wilburn; 4 sisters: Mary Ann Dupree, Deloris Whitfield, Eliza Dupree, Rosa Rush, 2 Goddaughters: Jennifer Green (Quenton) and Calrla Turner (Tray) and a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

There's nothing like a MOTHER'S ❤️ I'm so sorry for your tremendous loss of your wife, mother, sister and friend. Mrs D was that mom that everyone loved and respected. Beautiful inside and out. I have so many sweet memories that will carry me through this time. It is my prayer that the family is showered with love and support. Words can't express what sweet and beautiful person "Poley" was. She will be remembered as a kind and compassionate wife, mother and friend. I remember playing for the Support Choir years ago. Poley could really sing!!! NOBODY could sing Jesus Can Work It Out Like her!!! She was a true rose and is now in heaven as an angel. God bless her entire family during this hour. "Love and Peace"
