Mr. Paul McCuver Sneed, age 86, was born to the late Harrison and Annie Covington Sneed on April 20, 1936 in Rockingham, North Carolina and departed this life on Wednesday; January 25, 2023 at Gastonia Health and Rehab Center.

He was the youngest of twenty-two children. He was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, Gastonia, North Carolina. He was faithful in his attendance where he participated in Sunday School, Bible Study and Prayer meetings.

After graduating from Lee Street High School in Rockingham, North Carolina, he moved to Brooklyn, New York, where he stayed until his health began to decline. Upon returning to Gastonia, North Carolina, he initally lived with his sister, Era Gordon. He later lived independently until requiring additional care.

He is survived by his last living sibling, Era Gordon of Gastonia, North Carolina and a host of nieces, nephews, other relative and friends.

Viewing at the funeral home on Monday; January 30, 2023 from 3 until 6

Funeral on Tuesday; January 31 2023 at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, Gastonia at 12:30 with thirty minute visitation (12:00 noon)

Interment: Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia
