Memorial service for Michael Stewart, 43, of Columbus, GA, formerly Opelika, AL, will be at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, January 28, 2023, at Harris Funeral Home Chapel, Kelvin Smith, Eulogist.

Mr. Stewart, who passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at Piedmont Medical Center in Columbus, GA, was born March 7, 1979 in Chattanooga, TN.

Michael graduated from Opelika High School Class of 1997. He was a very fun-loving person that everyone loved. Many of his family and friends would get advice from him in their time of need.

He leaves to cherish his memory: mother, Anna Stewart (Tom) Jackson of Opelika, AL; three sisters, Shunta Stewart Greathouse of Valdosta, GA, Brittnay Stewart of Opelika, AL and Ruby Archie Stewart of Birmingham, AL; three nephews, Jaqevin Stewart, Marqevious Greathouse both of Valdosta, GA and Anthony Greathouse of Auburn, AL; four aunts, Barbara Allen of Nashville, TN, Francis Smith, Miranda Tramble and Beverly Wilson all of Chattanooga, TN; two uncles, Arthur Smith of Nashville, TN and Efrin Stewart of Chattanooga, TN; a host of other relatives and many friends.
