Michael Lewis Hadley

Michael Lewis Hadley was born to the parents of John Henry Hadley and Lula Mae Hadley on October 28, 1955. He was the third son born in this union. He was preceded in death by both parents and one sister Theresa Briston. Michael graduated from Brooks County High School in 1973 and enlisted in the United States Army for 2 years.

After the military, he worked as a cement finisher and a construction worker. He was very skilled in home improvements and his favorite hobby was gardening. He loved reading, sports and watching westerns. He enjoyed building and remodeling projects. Michael leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Keteria Nicole Burke and four grandchildren Jolynn F. Burke, Judah I Burke, Kamille F Burke, and Rock H. Burke; five brothers John Hadley (Mattie), Morris Hadley (Lena), Kenneth Hadley (Jenny), Adrian Hadley (Shadon) and Mark Hadley; seven sisters Carolyn Morgan (Robert), Alice McCloud (Johnny), Sandra Hadley, Jeannie Little (Eddie), Debra Roberts (Herman), Gwendolyn Frazier (Thomas) and Sheila Gambles (Nathan); his Special Companion and love of 23years Gladys Williams and her granddaughter Da’Kenzee Sol and a host of other relatives, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation will be Friday, January 27, 2023 at the Stevens-McGhee chapel from 5PM-7PM.
