Mr. Terrance Jerome Gilmore, Jr. 49, of Ft. Mitchell, AL passed Saturday, January 28, 2023 in Columbus, GA.

Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. EST, Saturday, February 4, 2023 at Antioch Baptist Church in Ft. Mitchell, AL with Rev. Frederick Small, pastor, officiating. Rev. Tamiko Allen, Words of Comfort. Visitation will be Friday, February 3, 2023 from 1-5 p.m. EST.

Terrance Jerome Gilmore, Jr. was born December 21, 1973 in Tuskegee, AL to Delois Hoskins and Terrance Jerome Gilmore, Sr.

At an early age he confessed Christ and united with Antioch Baptist Church in Ft. Mitchell, AL. He was 1993 graduate of Russell County High School where he was a proud star defensive tackle (#72) for the warriors winning football team. In 1991-1992 he helped the warriors reach the playoffs making it to the second round.

He worked in the maintenance department with Ft. Benning, GA lawn services.

Mr. Gilmore is preceded in death by his brother, Jessie James "Pete" Faison.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories his mother, Delois (David) Hoskins of Ft. Mitchell, AL; father, Terrance Jerome Gilmore, Sr. of Philadelphia, PA; one son, Trevion Jaquon Gilmore of Columbus, GA; two grandchildren, Tavon Jamir Gilmore and Taliyah Jeanette Gilmore; one son, Zajaliq Riley of Columbus, GA and one daughter, Jaaliyah Riley of South Carolina both he raised as his own; one brother, Terrell (Kristen) Gilmore of Philadelphia, PA; one sister, Tehirah (Jahlil) Gilmore of Philadelphia; three uncles, Bruce Gilmore, Keith Blackmon and John Henry (Zina) Griggs; two aunts, Doretha Holders and Gwendolyn Vinton; one great aunt, Willie Mae (Robert) Holloway; one great uncle, Roosevelt (Annie) Thomas; special friend, Audrey Riley and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
