Mr. Ulysses N. Barkley, of Marianna, Florida transitioned from life on January 24, 2023, at his residence.

Homegoing Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at 11:00 AM from the sanctuary of Springfield AME Church located at 4191 Union Road in Marianna, Florida 32446 where the Reverend Hollis McClendon is the pastor and Pastor Kevin Yoder officiating.

Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Barkley will lie in repose at the church from 10:00 AM until time for the service.

He leaves to cherish a lifetime of fond, yet precious memories, a loving and devoted family:

Wife: Joni Barkley of Marianna, Florida

Children: Broderick Barkley, Michael Patterson, Sharea Patterson, Teddy and Anthony.

Siblings: Beverly Mosley, Roma Mosley, and Lartis Mosley, Leartha, James Thomas, Darrell (Marzella), Anetha (Rev. Felix), Charles (Elaine), Victor (Edna), Shirley and Donna (Rev. Curtis)

And a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
