Wayne LeVonne Burch Sr. was the son of the late Mrs. Sylverna Veronica Wall. Wayne was born on November 8, 1972 in Monroe, NC and departed this life on January 29, 2023 at Atrium Health-Pineville.

Wayne was a member of Chinquapin Baptist Church.

Wayne attended Anson Senior High School and graduated with the Class of 1991. He then continued his education at South Carolina State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. He then attended the University of Phoenix and graduated with a Master of Science in Business Administration Health Care Management.

Wayne was a retired military veteran from the United States Army where he served as a Military Police (MP).

Wayne was currently employed at RE Health Group as a Qualified Professional. He was a Mason and part of the P/R Fraternity. Wayne loved and enjoyed all sports.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Mrs. Sylverna Veronica Wall and Mrs. Roberta Massey Burch (Artis Burch).

Wayne leaves fond memories to be cherished by his loving wife of 26 years, Alfretina Burch; three sons, Wayne Jr. and Joshua Burch both of Charlotte, NC and Isaiah Fleming (Kanisha) of Tallahassee, Florida; one grandson, Eli Fleming; five brothers, Jeffrey Burch (Joanna), Brian Burch (Lori), Vernon Bennett (Dette), Bishop Greg Bennett (Evangelist Lenora) and Martin Bennett (Mamie); stepfather, Kenneth Wall; a special aunt, Joanne Burch Ross and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The Homegoing Services will be on Saturday, February 4, 2023, 12:30pm, in the Chapel of Smith Funeral Home, 604 Salisbury Street, Wadesboro, North Carolina. Interment will follow in the Burch Family Plot of Hillcrest Cemetery, Monroe, North Carolina.
