MR. CLIFFORD DeWAYNE RUTLEDGE, SR. - Age 47, - of Chickamauga, Georgia passed away Thursday, February 2, 2023. He was born on February 9, 1975 to his parents, Willie James Foster and Carolyn Virginia Rutledge. He was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church, a graduate of Ridgeland High School Class of 1994, and was employed at Roper Corporation.

Survivors are his loving son, Clifford DeWayne Rutledge, Jr.; parents, Willie James Foster and Carolyn Virginia Rutledge; significant other, Kimberlyn Ransom; two stepchildren, MaKaila Buchanan, and DeVaughn Buchanan, of Chickamauga, Georgia; sisters, Christy (Shawn) Wilson of Rossville, Georgia, Virginia Rutledge of Chickamauga, Talia Foster of Chattanooga, Tennessee; two brothers, Jason Elder of Atlanta, Georgia, and James Dupree of Chattanooga; seven aunts, Tina Webb, Iuanita Rutledge, Juanita (Charles) Dupree, Aileen Marsh, Marcia (Donald) McGraw, Annie Foster, and Gwen Foster; thirteen uncles, Casper Bailey, Hansel (Virginia) Bailey, Curtis Rutledge, Jr., Larry Rutledge, Willie L. Foster, David Foster, Rev. Johnny Foster, Rev. Mitch Foster, Robert Lee Foster, Charles Marsh, Ken (Lecni) Marsh, Jessie (Willie Mae) Rutledge, Robert (Hattie Pearl) Bailey; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins; special friends, Darryl Moten, Nelson Burse; other relatives, and friends.

Homegoing Celebration will be held on Friday, February 10, 2023 at 2:00 P. M. at Shady Grove Baptist Church, 879 North Highway 341, Chickamauga, Georgia 30707 with Pastor Ronald Carson as Eulogist and other Ministers officiating. His remains will lie in state at the church on Friday from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour. Interment, Wallaceville Cemetery. Arrangements by Willis Funeral Home, LLC, Dalton, Georgia.
