Obituary For Walter Clayton

Mr. Walter Clayton 70 of Adel, Ga. transitioned this life on Monday, February 6th at the Rehabilitation Center of South Ga. in Tifton, GA. The family will have a home memorial.

On Monday, February 6, 2023, Mr. Walter Clayton left this earthly world to transition to his heavenly home. Mr. Walter Clayton was born in Adel, Georgia on September 29, 1952 to the late parentage of Mr. Willie Clayton and Aretha Smith. He was employed and dedicated to work for Utilco Company for many years until his retirement. Because Mr. Walter was such an energetic person, he didn’t allow retirement to slow him down. He continued farming, horse riding, fishing, hunting, and watching football and Nascar racing. Later, he decided to go back into the work force and got a job with Chaparral Boats.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and four sisters, Willa B. Linwood, Molly Clayton, Vernell Williams, and Vera Bennett. He leaves to cherish his memories his children, Patrick Clayton of Ashburn, GA, Stephen Clayton of Sparks, GA, and Antoinette Lee of Vero Beach, FL, his siblings, Essie Allen of Adel, GA, Lula Mae (Sam) Holmes of St. Petersburg, FL, Jimmy Clayton of St. Petersburg, FL, Jerry (Bonnie) Clayton of Sparks, GA, and Willie Joe Clayton of Adel, GA, his grandchildren, Jalen Clayton of Moultrie, GA, Jordan Clayton of Moultrie, GA, Connor Clayton of Clarksville, TN, Javion Lane of Quitman, GA, Amoree Brown of Washington, ST, and Carmen Lee of Vero Beach, FL and a host of nieces , nephews, cousins and friends.
