Terry Clarice “T.J.” Hairston, Jr. 42, of Eden, NC passed Wednesday, February 1, 2023. A memorial service will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, February 12, 2023, at Perry-Spencer Funeral Home, Eden, NC. Terry Clarice Hairston, known to his family and friends as “TJ”, was the son born July 17, 1980 to Elder Terry Hairston and Mona Lisa Hairston. He departed this life on Wednesday, February 1, 2023.

“T J”attended Morehead High School and later got his GED. He was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend. Terry loved his Mom and her cooking and he loved to cook and eat. In his past time, he loved to play musical instruments, but his passion was playing the guitar.

“T J” a young man with an old man’s spirit and soul. He was a giver and you were around him there was always a smile on his face.

Terry was preceded in death by his grandparents; Sallie Neal Morehead (grandmother), Jeremiah Morehead (grandfather) and Estelle Hairston (grandmother). He leaves to cherish his memory: his parents; Elder Terry Hairston and Mina Lisa Hairston of Eden, NC, two brothers; Timothy Hairston (Jessica) of Burlington, NC, Jouel Hairston of Stoneville, NC, two nieces; Zemira and Timya Hairston of Burlington, NC, two nephews; Zyneal White and O’neal White of Burlington, NC, grandfather; Joe Williams, Sr. (Franzoia) of Eden, NC, uncles; Gary Hairston, Joe Williams, Jr., and Calvin Williams, aunts; Geraldine Glenn, Laverne Lockey, Gloria Milliner, Pamela Monroe, Linda Williams, Lisa Hairston and a host of other relatives & friends.
