Funeral service for Wayne Brooks, 61, of Montgomery, AL, formerly of Opelika, AL will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 10, 2023 at Bethesda Missionary Baptist Church, 201 South 4th Street, Opelika, AL 36801 with interment in Evergreen Cemetery, 1409 Monroe Avenue, Opelika, AL 36801, Reverend Anthony Pogue will officiate, Elder Terry Wayne Pink, Eulogist.

Mr. Brooks, who passed away Saturday, January 28, 2023 at the Cancer Treatment Center of America in Newnan, Georgia, was born June 3, 1961 in Lee County, Alabama.

Family hour for Wayne Brooks, Thursday, February 9, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

His remains will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service.

Brooks of Phenix City, AL; special friend and brother-in-law, William Andrews of Montgomery, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
