Curtis was a life-long member of Ebenezer AME Zion Church of Camden, South Carolina. He was educated in the Kershaw County School District and was a 1982 graduate of North Central High School. Curtis served his country in the Armed Forces as a member of the United States Army, with an honorable discharge. He was employed by Thompson Logging Company.
Curtis leaves to cherish his memories, to grieve his passing, and to celebrate his home-going are one daughter, Victoria Danzy, Kershaw, SC; one sister, Natasha Jackson, Lugoff, SC; five brothers, Michael and Lawerence Jackson both of Camden, SC, Franco (Shakena) Jackson of Lugoff, SC, Ronald (Julia) Jackson of Columbia, SC, and Jeffery Jones of Atlanta, GA; one brother-in-law, Gerald Pearson of Columbia, SC; three god-children, Kenneth Jamal, Niaja Simone’, and Alexis Kionna; a god-mother, Carol Thompson, and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
In addition to his parents, Curtis was predeceased by two siblings, Brian Brice Jackson and Peggy J. Pearson, and a sister-in-law, Loretta F. Catoe.
Funeral Service will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 13, 2023, at Ebenezer AME Zion Church with burial in the church cemetery. Reverend Albert Young will conduct the funeral service.
Viewing will be Sunday, February 12, 2023, 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
