No matter what your trials are, or how big your mountain seems; The Lord is there to see you through; He will go to all extremes. So if your cross seems hard to bear, and you know not what to do; The One who loves you most of all will be there to see you through.

Mr. Joseph Alston, Jr. age 71, of Warren County, North Carolina departed this life on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at his residence.

Joe leaves to cherish his memory: his loving and devoted wife, Gloria Alston of the home; six children, Rebecca Alston of Durham, N.C., Travis Rodwell of Charlottesville, V.A, Joseph J. Alston III of Warrenton, N.C., Rosezlyn Cauldy, Amanda Caudly, and JacQula Anderson all of Durham, N.C., twelve grandchildren; Amaya, Jordan, Ayden, Malik, Ladavid, Marii, Davial, Kialaya, Jayvon, Araha, and Braylon; one sister, Ada Marie Davis of Warrenton, N.C.; one brother in-law Charles Gentry from Richmond, V.A. and a most trusted friend K.D.; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Private memorial service will be at a later date.
