Lena Delores "Lois" Charles Mathis, 81, of Glen Allen, VA, passed away on February 18, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Mathis. Surviving are her two sons, Anthony L. and Vincent W. (Katherine) Mathis; five grandchildren, Norvel Brandon, Devon Anthony, Tremayne Justin, Sydney Morgan and Ryan Anthony; sister-in-law Shirley Mathis; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd., where viewing will be held Thursday, March 2, from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held 9:30 a.m. Friday, March 3, at St. Peter Baptist Church, 2040 Mountain Road. Dr. Kirkland Walton, officiating. Interment Quantico National Cemetery.
