To Mr. James and family, I send my deepest sympathy. Felicia was a beloved colleague and friend. I had the honor of serving with her on a committee representing Residential Foster Care Providers across the State of Alabama, AACCA. Felicia's legacy will not only be determine by her career but by the measure of her charater, the strength of her dignity and the depth of her compassion. She was a capable and intelligent women who generously gave to others. One of the things that I loved most about her was her swift tongue, she always had something funny to say! She was kind, full of wisdom, and knowledge. Mr. James, I am sending prayers and strength for this next season of life. In Loving Support, LeiLani Sanders

Felicia was family and will always be loved dearly. She had a great sense of humor but would not hesitate to call you out in the most loving way. As I (Robert) grew through adolescence, she always supported and showed love for me and my brother; our family in general. Our conversations and visits continued through college, early adulthood, and even while I began to build my own family unit. We are thankful to have known her. She will be forever be carried within our hearts. Condolences to all of her loved ones, for we are many. Love, Robert and LaClaire Douglass, Arabella, Ellington, Delilah, and Chancellor ROLL TIDE...

I have known Felicia, beloved child of God, since we served on the board of the University of Alabama Social Work Society in the early 90's and more recently as a member of the PHFC Board. She has always been the consummate professional using her brilliant mind for the good of the"least of these." Serving with humility, grace and dignity, she was respected by all. Onlly a few of us also got to see that wicked sense of humor. Fly high on your angel wings my friend.
