Obituary For Pastor McKinley Miles

Pastor McKinley Miles, 82 entered eternal rest on February 21, 2023. He was born on May 9, 1940, in Farmville, Virginia to the late James Daniel and Mary Alice Miles. He was married to the late Minister Ruth Miles.

Pastor Miles rendered his service as the pastor of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Cowpens, SC for almost twenty-five years.

Survivors are his daughter, Alfredia (Robert Jr.) Thompson of Catawba, SC; six grandchildren, Timothy (Lori) McCrorey of Plainville, Connecticut, Vicki (Tony) McClurkin, Falacia (Marcus) Burris, and Robert (Lisa) Thompson, all of Rock Hill, SC, Frederick, Sr. (Nikeenah) Thompson of Heath Springs, SC, and Johron Brown of Chester, SC; three sisters, Mattie Miles Walker of Patterson, New Jersey, Ethel Mae Miles Ford, and Odessa Miles Holman of Farmville, Virginia; one brother, Joseph (Dolores) Miles of Haldon, New Jersey; one sister - in - law, Peggy Jean Gregory of Chester, S.C; seventeen grandchildren and twenty-three great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 12: 00 p.m. Saturday, February 25, 2023, at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, 299 S. Linda Street, Cowpens, SC. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Funeral Service will be conducted by Minister Jacqueline Harris and Pastor Tony Makupson.
