Obituary For Derrick Stowe

Derrick Leon Stowe was born in Cleveland County, North Carolina on January 3, 1983 to Mildred Miller and the late Andra Stowe. He entered eternal rest on Thursday; February 23, 2023 at his home.

Derrick was educated in the Gaston County Public Schools and attended Bessemer City High School. He enjoyed watching sports of which he was a die-hard Duke basketball fan and a Red Skin football fan. Derrick loved listening to music and fixing electronics. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father and a nephew: Lil D.

Memories will forever be cherished by his children: Daemaius Stowe, and Alyssa Stowe, and bonus children: Kristian Wade and Gary Marshall; his mother: Mildred Miller; his brothers: Michael Stowe, Steven Stowe, and bonus brother: David Mackins, his sisters: Darlene Nichols (D.J.; Sissy Stowe and Tina Stowe; nieces and nephews: Money, Dae’jah, Trinity, Demorrie, Goliath, Kamarion, Montay and Lil Rydell; great nieces: Malia Wallace and Jada Stowe and a host of other relatives and friends.

Viewing at the funeral home on Tuesday; February 28, 2023 from 6 until 8

Funeral on Wednesday; March 1, 2023 at the funeral home at 5:00 p.m with thirty minute visitation beginning at 4:30 p.m.
