Funeral services for Mr. Howard Dunning, 59, of 220 Pecan Street, Cameron, SC, will be held 11:00am, Saturday, March 4, 2023, at Simmons Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel, 2868 Columbia Road, Orangeburg, with interment to follow in Mt. Zion Church Cemetery, Creston, SC. Rev. Jeremy Huggins is officiating.

Mr. Howard Dunning, son of the late Mellie Lee Dunning and the late William James Dunning, Sr., was born March 1, 1963, in Orangeburg, South Carolina. He entered eternal rest on February 25, 2023.

Howard was a graduate of Saint John High School class of 1981.

In 1983, Howard was joined in holy matrimony to Caroline Lee Williams Dunning. This union was blessed with three children.

Howard leaves to cherish fond memories: his wife, Caroline L. Dunning of Cameron, SC; three daughters: Rachal and Alicia Dunning of Cameron, SC and Tiffany M. Dunning of Charlotte, NC; two grandchildren: Aaliyah A. Dunning of Cameron, SC and Jayden A. Haggood of Charlotte, NC; two brothers: William (Emily) Dunning of Richmond, VA, Rodney (Ninia) Dunning of Bowman, SC; three sisters: Amanda Huggins, Lottie Dunning and Pauline Dunning of Orangeburg, SC; three aunts: Marie Mae Huggins of Orangeburg, SC, Mattie Mae Thompson of Elloree, SC, Daisy Maple Huggins of Philadelphia, PA; two brothers-in-law: Carl (Leah) Williams of Columbia, SC and Curtis (Denise) Williams of Brooklyn, NY; three sisters-in-law: Loretta Washington of Columbia, SC, Melody (William) Kirkland of Savannah, GA and Victoria Brevard of Norwalk, CT; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives and dear friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 3, 2023, from 12:00pm - 6:00pm.

Family and friends may visit the residence, 220 Pecan Street, Cameron or call Simmons Funeral Home and Crematory of Orangeburg.
