Daisy Lee Bridges Carpenter, who devoted her life to caring for her family and giving unselfishly to others, heard the sweet sound of the trumpet on March 2, 2023, and departed this earthly realm at South Georgia Medical Center. Daisy was born on April 29, 1948, in Lowndes County, Georgia, to the late Willie C. Bridges Sr. and Daisy Williams Bridges. Before moving to Miami, Florida at the age of 18, she spent most of her youth in Valdosta, Georgia. She attended Pinevale High School, where she was also a member of the marching band. A special thank you to Julie Bembry and her husband for providing in-home care and assistance to Daisy, which contributed immensely to her comfort.
