Obituary For Sandra Marie Russell

"The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. Sandra Marie Russell was born to the late Clarence Russell and the late Irene Russell on June 8, 1959, in Allendale County, South Carolina.

At an early age, she seeked God's direction and joined Sycamore New Church of Christ, Sycamore, South Carolina.

She was educated in the public schools of Allendale County. Later in life, she became employed with Allendale County Hospital as a Respiratory Technician.

Sandra loved her family dearly and she would do anything for them, especially for her son the late Mario Russell. She was a mother to all her nieces and nephews. She treated them as her own. Above all, Sandra kept her family together through the outpour of love she displayed daily.

As she begins her new journey of life, she will be greeted with love from loving son: Mario Russell; beloved parents: Clarence and Irene Russell; (2) Sisters: Corrine Stevens and Florence Bradley; (3) Brothers: Timothy Russell, Eric Russell, and Rickey Russell.

Our Heavenly Father saw fit to call from labor to reward our beloved Sandra on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 in the comfort of her home.

Her departure has left a tremendous void in the lives of her beloved family; (3) Sisters: Vivian Beckett, Luray, SC; Bertha (Apostle Melvin) Badger, Varnville, SC; Tracy (Terreal) Witherspoon, Aiken, SC; (1) Brother: Arthur (Donna) Russell, Tampa, FL; (2) Grand-daughters: Namarhea Russell, Jordyn Russell; both of Columbia, SC; (2) Grand-sons: Mario Russell, Dylan Russell both of Columbia, SC; (9) Nieces: Jenise Etheredge, Columbia, SC, Shamarr Page, Winston-Salem, NC, Kadawn Young, Montgomery, AL; Sierra Young, Sinclair Russell, both of Tampa, FL; Sharon McMillan, Columbia, SC; Amekquea Johnson, Savannah, GA, Tomica Bradley and Megan Dickerson, both of Fairfax, SC; (7) Nephews: Joseph Stanley, Jr., Columbia, SC; Derrick Davis, Statesville, NC, Timothy Eaton, Raleigh, NC, Carlos Beckett, Estill, SC, Shawn Cole, Savannah, GA, Ben Bradley, Jr., and Logan Witherspoon both of Fairfax, SC; (2) Special Great - Nieces: Shakeema Owens and Kimberly Harvey both of Fairfax, SC; Special Friend: Hullie Thompson, Fairfax, SC. A host of loving cousins and sympathizing friends.

Ms. Sandra will be greatly missed from Byrd Street. Sandra was so sweet and friendly. I truly adored the way she took up so much loving time with her nieces, nephews and their children, when they would walk and ride bikes by my grandparents house going to the store, park or wherever.
