Obituary For Daniel Nolan, Sr.

Funeral service for Daniel Nolan, Sr. "Pop" 95, will be Saturday, March 11, at 2 pm at The Life City Church where Rev. Eugene Leonard, pastor, with Rev. Jerrell Hicks, eulogist. Interment will follow in Eden Hills Cemetery.

Mr. Nolan passed away on March 5, 2023 at the Grandview Medical Center, Birmingham. Mr. Nolan's remains will arrive at the church one hour prior to his service.

Mr. Nolan was a member of the Greenbrier Church of Christ. Pop was a famous Disc Jockey for many years known as Dynamite Soul and the Super Jocks.

Survivors include his his children: Barbara Nolan Alston, Daniel (Trina) Nolan, Larri (Karen) Nolan, Tina Nolan, Eugene Nolan, Judy (Reginald) Lewis, Bettlyn (James) Hargett, Reginald (Patricia) Patterson, Roderick (Laura) Patterson; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; caregiver and friend: Bonnie Gal Moore.

He was preceded in death by his parents Mr. John M. and Dannie C. Nolan; brothers, Johnny Nolan, Eugene Nolan and wife Minnie Lee Nolan.
