Franklin attended school in Indian River County graduating with the class of 1971. Franklin decided to serve his country in 1973 and was discharged honorably in 1979.
According to God's will Franklin departed this life to receive eternal rest on February 28, 2023. He was preceded I death by his parents: lola and Thomas Brown; brothers: Willie J. Chealey, David Hardemon and Clarence Lewis; nephews Robert L. Robinson, Jr. and Treyvious M. Jean Baptiste.
Left the cherish his memories are his sister: Gloria L. Tucker; sister-in-law: Mary Ann Lewis; nieces: Tina Nelson, Latissia Lewis, Blanquita Jones, Gwendolyn Baker; nephews: Willie J. Chealey, Jr (Dianne), Eugene P. Chealey (Leah), Gerald M. Stribbling, IV; aunt: Dorothy Hardemon; special relatives: Alice Holley, Hazel Walker and Baslean Wright; classmates and 31st Avenue friends: Ida Dawson, Debra Walker, Patsy Ward, Joyce Brown, Marsha Lane, Lottie Nicholson and Michael Sears; numerous cousins, grand cousins and great grand cousins and others.
Public visitation for Franklin Cesar Brown will take place on Saturday, March 11, 2023 from 10:00am-11:00am at Stone Brothers Funeral Chapel in Vero Beach, FL which will be followed by his graveside service in Gifford Cemetery beginning at 11:00am.
