Funeral service for Jeffery Bandy, 53, of Miami, FL, formerly of Opelika, AL, will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 11, 2023, at Greater Peace Missionary Baptist Church, 650 Jeter Avenue, Opelika, AL 36801 with interment in Garden Hills Cemetery, 1218 Frederick Road, Opelika, AL, 36801, Reverend Clifford E. Jones will officiate.

Mr. Bandy, who passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at Jackson South Hospital in Miami, FL, was born October 10, 1969 in Tuskegee, AL.

Public viewing will be Friday, March 10, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. (Facial covering is required).

Mr. Bandy will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories: his children, Jeffery (Janasuela) Davis of Auburn, AL, Jasmine Bandy of New Orleans, LA, Kymbreiah Crook of Montgomery, AL, Trajan Bandy, T.Y. Bandy and Edward Bandy all of Miami, FL; one sister, Carole (William) Carson of Opelika, AL; three brothers, Brian Smith of Atlanta, GA, E. Charles Bandy, Jr. (Charlette) of Miami, FL and Ronnie Smith (Shelia) of Dallas, TX; cousin as a brother, George Bandy, Jr. of Atlanta, GA; twin granddaughters, Paige and Paityn Davis; companion, Shawanna Aaron; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
