A private funeral service for Julie Ann Murray will be Thursday, March 9, 2023 at the Anniston Memorial Gardens. Ms. Murray passed away on March 4, 2023.

She was a loving daughter, sister, mother and grandmother. Julie was born to Calvin and Betty Posey on June 17, 1954. She travelled the world during her father's military career, living in various places such as France. After graduating high school, in Pensacola, FL., Julie settled with her family in Anniston, AL.

Julie is survived by her brother, James Posey, her son, Michael Murray, her daughter, Stephanie Murray, and grandchildren, Takena, Immanuel, Selah, and Teshawn Murray. Julie had a contagious smile and laughter that brightened the days of those she loved and interacted with. She was truly a friendly person who never met a stranger.

A remembrance service is scheduled for 1 pm on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Fire City Church located at 461 Choccolocco Rd., Anniston, AL.
