Lucille Gertrude King, 68, of Pascagoula, returned to her Heavenly Home on March 5, 2023. She was born on May 24, 1954 to Edward Hermus Cruse and Rachel Catherine Patterson Touchstone, of Gautier.

Mrs. King was preceded in death by her father, Edward; mother Rachel; and brother, Edward Lamar Cruse. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Wayne King; son, Kenny Joe King; brother, Joe Touchstone Jr.; and sister, Shirley Ann Cours.

Trudy graduated from Franklin County High School in 1972 and held many different occupations throughout her life including restaurant work, housekeeping and bookkeeping. Affectionately known as Gigi, she will be most well remembered as a loving caregiver to multiple generations of family members over the years. Trudy greatly enjoyed researching new recipes, canning fresh produce, sewing quilts, knitting garments and mastering other maternal skill sets to ensure her children were never left wanting.

A memorial service will take place at 10 a.m. on March 13 at Eastside Assembly of God, 7801 US-90, Moss Point, MS 39562. MASKS REQUIRED.
