Mr. Darryl De'Angelo Cole

Darryl De’Angelo Cole, the oldest of two children, was born in High Point, N.C., on February 26, 1982, to Darryl and Dorothy Cole. On March 9, 2023, surrounded by his loving family, De’Angelo was called home to be with the Lord, where he greeted his grandparents.

He was raised in High Point and became a member of the Church of God of Prophecy. He attended Southwest High School and was employed in the family business, Cole’s Professional Landscaping Service. He enjoyed working with his family, and he and his brother, Darrian, planned to let their father retire and take over the business.

De’Angelo believed in family and maintained strong family bonds. He was known by his family and friends for his sweet and fun-going personality. He enjoyed playing basketball, watching the Carolina Panthers Football, and attending the games with his dad, brother, and cousins.

De’Angelo leaves behind to cherish his memories, his loving parents, five children, Iyanah Cole, Sienna Cole, De’Onte Cole, Jashawn Cole, and Sabastian Cole, all of North Carolina, and his brother, Darrian Cole. Also left to mourn are his Aunt, Sharisse C. Fuller (David), Uncles Wesley Lewis (Sharon), Shawn Cole (Dawn), Shavis Cole (Tiffany), and Michael Bennett, nieces, Ashley Andrews (her daughter Aria), Treasure Cole, Kendall Cole, nephew, Ashton Cole, his close first cousins, Matthew Fuller (Perla Fuller), Whitney Lewis, Nikki Lewis, Kenyon Lewis, Sterling Cole, Anderson Cole, Olivia Cole, Bailey Cole, Senovia Bennett, Mani Bennett and Makia Bennett all of North Carolina. godparents, Robert and Minnie Baxter and god sisters, LaDonna Whitaker and Kiara Jacobs. A host of cousins, other relatives and friends will cherish De’Angelo’s memory.

Funeral service will be held Friday, March 17, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Parkside Church of God of Prophecy, 300 Barrington Street, Thomasville, NC. Interment will follow at Carolina Biblical Gardens. The family will receive friends at the church from 12:30 p.m. until 1:00 p.m.
