Obituary For James Walker

Mr. James Walker, Jr was born in Louisville, GA to the parentage of the late James Walker Sr and the late Eliza Bynes Walker. He made his transition on Friday, March 10, 2023 at an Augusta Hospital. He joins his siblings: Charles Walker, Minnie Lee Jenkins, Louisa Golden and Lee Arthur Jenkins; nieces: Daphne Jenkins and Jenny Walker Bunyon. Memorial Services will be held Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at Faith Memorial C.M.E. Wadley, GA. James attended Louisville High school and following his graduation attended he was employed for over forty years at Van Tran and later Thermo King Corporation. He leaves to cherish his precious memories his loving and devoted wife: Marguerite Palmer Walker, Louisville, GA; his son: James Anthony Walker (Lisa Totten), Kannapolis, N.C.; his daughter: Chantelle La'Rese Walker (Derick Wright), Louisville, GA; sister: Elouise Walker, Augusta, GA; brother: George (Almarene) Walker, Louisville, GA; brothers-in-law: Carl Golden, Augusta, GA; grandchildren: Savion Walker, Natailya Walker and Antavious Walker; nieces and nephews: Letha (Phillip, Sr.) Tolbert, Waynesboro, GA, Talencia (Ollie) McIntosh, Wadley, GA, Christy (Tony) Jenkins Murray, Hephzibah, GA, James Darrell (Becky) Jenkins, Waynesboro, GA, Carl Landry Golden, Christopher Golden and Cedric Golden, Augusta, GA, Shondray (Sherita) Burton, Washington, D.C., Cabastian Dion Jenkins, Atlanta, GA, Jeraldine Perry, Toomsboro, GA, Diane Hill, Earnestine Lawson and Charles Jackson, Milledgeville, GA; a host of cousins and other friends.
