Obituary For Vince L. Johnson
Mr. Vince L. Johnson, a resident of Montgomery, AL, passed away on March 10, 2023.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at 12:00 noon at Engage Christian Church, 2877 McGhee Road, 36117, Rev. Paul Gourdine, Pastor, with Rev. Ernest Nix officiating. The staff of E. G. Cummings Memorial Funeral Home directing.
Visitation will be Monday, March 20, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The memorial service for Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. will begin at 6:00 p.m.
Mr. Johnson will lie in repose one hour prior to the funeral service at the church.

I had the pleasure to work and train Mr. Johnson in our Adult education department. He was the sweetest and hard working person I know. His genuine smile, motivation, and enthusiastic attitude is something I will miss. He was one of my favorite people who I was blessed to get to know. Mr. Johnson will be truely missed. Mr. Johnson was an awesome principal for MPS. The man was friendly and always had a smile. That alone was merely enough in helping my children, Penelope and Brian, transition into the middle magnet program. As a parent, I can say he was approachable. We were grateful for that and loved his leadership. I pray The Lord continues to watch and comfort his beautiful wife, Sophia, and their precious daughters.
