Eva Mae Solomon was born August 24, 1931 to Roosevelt and Cassie Mae Solomon in Vernon, Florida. The family moved to Lynn Haven, Florida and later to Fort Pierce, Florida. Eva was employed at Sunrise Canning Company of Fort Pierce. Upon the canary closing, Eva moved to Lakeland, Florida where she worked at BJ’s Shrimp Packing Company. Eva attended Allen Chapel AME Church after returning back to Fort Pierce in 1994 until her health began to fail. Eva loved fishing, both saltwater and freshwater. She was also a good cook.

On Tuesday, March 14, 2023, our Heavenly Father called Eva from labor to reward. She left a beautiful memory that will never grow old. Eva was preceded in death by her parents Roosevelt and Cassie Mae Solomon, sisters; Theresa Martin, Margarie Fishburne and Dorothy Savage, brothers; Napoleon Solomon and R.E.
