Mr. Solomon Smith, of Grand Ridge, Florida gained his wings on March 9th, 2023 in Grand Ridge, Florida. He was 53 years old.

He leaves treasured memories to be forever cherished by his devoted mother, Florizell Smith of Grand Ridge, Florida; loving wife, Caren Smith of Chipley, Florida; devoted children, Timothy A. Brown, Jr. of Panama City, Florida, Cierra Brown-Potter (Torrey) of Vernon, Florida, Jasmine Brown-Olivaria of Atlanta, Georgia, Shakira Smith of Malone, Florida and Chavielle Love of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; loyal brother, Abel Smith (Sherneka) of Grand Ridge, Florida; loving sisters, Lillie Dickey, Dianne Dawson (Calvin), Nora Smith, Nancy Smith all of Grand Ridge, Florida, Barbara Franklin (Adreian) of Marianna, Florida and Ruthie Corker (Elijah) of Quincy, Florida; two sisters-in-law, Teresa Smith and Harriett Smith; god sister, Christine Garrett; 14 grandchildren, 23 nieces, and nephews who were all special to him; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A Solemn Farewell will be held Saturday, March 25th at 11a.m. at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor DeRon D. Johnson, Rev. Hu’mane Smith, Elder Anguel Johnson and Elder John Smith officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Caring Staff at Peoples Funeral Home of Marianna.
