Peanut, a precious jewel to the Beasley and Battle families was the youngest of six children born to the late Rev. Tom Beasley, Sr. and the late Creasie Battle Beasley. He was born on December 13, 1971 in Columbus, GA. His soul took flight on March 20, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.
Peanut's strength and character, stand as a testimony to the amount of love and devotion his parents and family gave him.
Peanut accepted Christ as his Savior at an early age and joined the Mt. Mariah Missionary Baptist Church where he served as a member of the Male Chorus and Mass Choir until his health declined. Peanut loved to sing. Some of his favorite songs were: God Did It, A City Built Four Square, Where the Thunder Don't Roar and We're Gonna Have A Good Time.

He was deeply loved by the staff members for his excellent behavior, truthfulness, kindness and willingness to do any task asked of him. He was sometimes called "The Teacher's Aide."
