Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free, I’m following the path God laid for me. I took his hand when I heard his call, turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day, to laugh, to love, to work, to play. Tasks left undone must stay that way, I've found that peace at the close of the day.

Mr. Daniel Louis Kearney also known as Earl, age 53, of Henderson, North Carolina departed this life on Monday, March 20, 2023, at Hock Family Pavilion, in Durham, N.C.

A Celebration of life will be conducted on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at 2:00p.m. in the Chapel of Boyd & Royster Funeral Services. The Reverend E.R. Buffaloe will officiate.

Earl leaves to cherish his memory: his loving mother, Mary K. Taylor; five siblings, Mary, Francie, David, Shari, and Annie; one special aunt, Elnora Hendricks, along with a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Earl may be viewed one hour prior to service.
