Scarlett, of Decatur, GA., will be held Friday, March 24, 2023, 11:00 A.M. at The Greater Piney Grove Baptist Church, 1879 Glenwood Avenue, Atlanta, GA., with remains placed in repose at 9:30 A.M. The Reverend Dr. William E. Flippin, Sr., Senior Pastor, Eulogist, Reverend Richard Flippin, Officiating. Interment will be held at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery, 1855 Sawmill Rd., Ailey, GA. Public Viewing and Visitation will be held at the mortuary Thursday, March 23, 2023, 9:00 A.M. until 8:00 P.M.

Mrs. Iris Scarlett leaves to cherish stepson, Gregory Scarlett (Patricia); 2 sisters, Sarah Culpepper, Sadie Smith; brother in-law, George Brumfield; nieces, Linda Hoyle, Pamela Sears, Elvera Culpepper, Jackie Torbert (Tom), Yvonne Owens (LeRoy), Evelyn Culpepper, nephews, Gaines Culpepper, Sr., Grady Culpepper, Carlton Culpepper; 18 great nieces & nephews, 12 great-great nieces & nephews, as well as a host of other loving relatives and friends.
