OPELOUSAS – Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home in Opelousas, LA for Mr. Anthony Manuel, 59, who entered eternal rest on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at his residence in Lawtell, LA. Interment will be in Serenity Memorial Park in Opelousas, LA.

Rev. Richard Freeman will be officiating the funeral service.

Mr. Manuel leaves to cherish his memories: his parents, John C. Manuel and Florence Payne, both of Opelousas, LA; two sons, Johnaton Ardoin and Anthony Manuel, Jr., both of Ville Platte, LA; two daughters, Lorisia Ardoin and Anthonique Ardoin, both of Ville Platte, LA; one brother, Horace I. (Gwendolyn) Manuel of Richmond, TX; one sister, Gwendolyn Manuel Pitre (Wayne) of Opelousas, LA; two grandchildren, Kemorri Ardoin and Caizlynn Ardoin, both of Ville Platte, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Mr. Manuel is preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home.
