My heartfelt condolences and prayers to cousin Cheryl, Lynn, and Pete Jr's family. I have so many fond memories of us as kids at our grandparents house. We tore up the back of the sofa hiding behind it. Of course they found out about it but we never owned up to who did it. We were both stationed in Germany when you came to visit me in Neu Ulm. It was fun reminiscing about the things we did growing up and sharing stories about the family. We enjoyed that good German food and beer! Farewell cousin and fellow Soldier! May you RIP! 🙏 Love Jerome

Cousin Pete, will surely be missed. My fond memories of Pete as a child was seeing him performing tricks on his motorcycle, or demonstrating new karate moves he just perfected. In our later years, whenever you saw Pete he was always jovial and ready to get into deep discussions on politics or God's Word. While playing a game of pool with Pete, he loved  to offer his professional advise on proper technique. We will miss Pete JR. RIP George M Long JR and Family

Heartbroken we got noticed that our loved Pete passed away. Still devastated we are nethertheless grateful to have had the privilege of knowing him. We will never forget his smile and great sense of humor – we had so many moments fun and enjoyable. He loved to share his life experience – and we loved listening to him. Meike "Pete's Baby doll" (because he knew the girls from a young age) used to say and still say: "you weren't my real uncle but it always felt like that !!! I'll miss you very much Uncle Pete and our time together at your man cave" that says all – he was a member of our family ! We miss him with all our heart and all our soul. Rest in eternal peace, Pete. Your whole family are in our thoughts and prayers Love & Peace, The Beckmann's & Sabrina, K'town -Germany-

I was deeply saddened by the news about the death of Mr. Peterson. I am so very sorry. Please remember that you are in my thoughts and my prayers. Mr. Peterson was such a kind soul, who will be greatly missed by all who knew him. The Gems Circle will never be the same, I will miss his helpful advice from lawncare, house repair, and what kind of tree to plant in my yard. Mr. Pete was a very special neighbor who would do anything you asked of him. I along with many others will miss his kind sprit. My grandkids and I will never forget the sound of his motorcycle coming, his gospel music and the smell of BBQ I am sure coming from across the street any given weekend. May God bless you and your family during this time and may your beautiful memories sustain and bring comfort. Mississippi Mass Choir - "Hold On Old Soldier" Ms. Lewis, De Anna
