She made her transition from labor to reward on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at an Augusta Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at Hardeman Springfield Baptist Church. Burial will be held in the church cemetery.
Public viewing will be held Monday, March 27. 2023 from 3:00 - 6:00.
"Lil" as she was lovingly known, attended the Jefferson County School System and in 1966 married the love of her life, Wiggerson Gibbons, Sr. She was employed on several jobs during her life including Wadley Shirt Company, Delilah Manfacturing Company. In 2003 she moved to Elkhart, Indiana where she worked at a Elkhart hospital and later Elkhart Housing Authority. She moved back home in 2018. "Lil" is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sons, Tony L.
