VILLE PLATTE – Graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at St. Paul Cemetery in Ville Platte, LA for Infant Daylen Dekel Williams who entered eternal rest on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 in Ville Platte, LA. Interment will immediately follow.

Rev. Freddie Jack, Pastor of St. John Baptist Church, will be officiating the graveside service.

Surviving Daylen are: his parents, Dekel Williams and Vashayla Skinner, both of Ville Platte, LA; three sisters, Carlieighe’ Hardy of Ville Platte, LA, Avia Williams and Da’Laina Williams, both of Mamou, LA; paternal grandmother, Delores Green of Ville Platte, LA; maternal grandmother, Wanda Anderson of Ville Platte, LA; paternal grandmother, Rene Arvie of Mamou, LA; and a host of other relatives.

Daylen is preceded in death by: maternal grandfather, Leon Skinner; paternal grandparents, Donald Green and Carolann Williams; maternal great grandmother, Bernice Anderson; paternal great grandmother, Louise Skinner; uncle, Leon Skinner, Jr.; and aunt, Bonita Pitre.
