To the family Mr. Hubbard was a great role model , a great person, a great neighbor , an excellent educator, a great father/ grandfather . He loved family, loved church and was loved & respected by all whom he met ! I will never forget our last conversation! He was telling me about Concetta & his granddaughter! We use to talk when I was living in his neighborhood he was always very friendly... just a nice person all around! He will be soooo missed by all who knew him! I'm praying for the family! My husband and I have very fond memories of Dean Hubbard. He was my husband's first employer at Stillman College. He had a very unique administrative style. I was in Mr. Hubbard's math class at Riverside High School. He was one of Riverside's last teachers. He was a people's person. We can remember the scripture that says "darkness last but a night, but joy comes in the morning". We wish the family love, faith, peace and joy. Blessings to the family! Rest in Peace! I will always cherish the memory of Good Brother Dean Amos Hubbard. The fondest of them being when he accompanied myself and a few other students to Selma, AL to participate in a reenactment of the Selma to Montgomery March! It was my honor and pleasure to have known Mr. Amos Hubbard, while I was a student at Stillman College. He was the best and a tremendous role model. I was also honored to have spent much time at his home when pledging Alpha Kappa Alpha with his beautiful wife, who was so supportive.
