The funeral services for the late Mr. Antwan Dowell, Sr. of 312 Miles Street, Sylvester, Georgia, who departed this life on Monday, March 27, 2023 at his residence, will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2023 at 11:00 a.m from the Shepard Memorial Garden Cemetery in Sylvester, Georgia. Reverend Terrell Carter will be delivering the Eulogy. Viewing/visitation will take place on Friday, April 7, 2023 from 12:00 Noon - 8:00 p.m.

Mr. Antwan Richard Dowell, Sr. was born on December 30, 1971 in Albany, Georgia to the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred and Catherine Woodard Dowell. He was educated in the Worth County Public School System, and graduated from Worth County High School in 1989.

Early in his life, Antwan confessed his faith in Jesus Christ and joined the First African Baptist Church in Sylvester, Georgia. Antwan was called from Labor to Reward on Monday, March 27, 2023 at his home. His parents, a sister, Anita LaGail Buffalow, a brother, Ronnie Allen Hall, and a special friend, Vonetta Leveston Johnson, have all preceded him in death.

Antwan leaves to cherish his memories a son, Antwan Dowell, Jr.; three sisters, Connie (Mickey) Collier of Sylvester, Georgia, Kathy (Toney) Hill of Albany, Georgia, Renae (Jimmy) Wilson of Conyers, Georgia; two brothers, Frederick (Mary) Dowell, Carlos (Tara) Dowell, both of Sylvester, Georgia; an aunt, Hazel Woodard of Albany, Georgia; a special niece, Cassandra (Randy) Walker of Sylvester, Georgia; a special friend, Reksher Dowers of Tifton, Georgia; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
