To the Jackson Family: Sincere condolences to you in the loss of Dr. Jackson. When we first came to work in Henrico County Public Schools, Dr. Jackson was the Director of Elementary Education. He took a direct interest, not only in the curriculum, but on a personal level, he took an interest in the well-being and success of our students as well. He was easy to talk to and well respected in the academic community. He is resting now, but he has left behind an enviable legacy. Herbert and Bettie Gray

My condolences to the Jackson family. Dr. Jackson was a good friend to me. We fished and had a great time together. I enjoyed our talks about football. He was a Cowboys fan and I'm a 49ers fan. You could always talk to him about anything and he would always be there to offer advice. He played a big part in my life and I enjoyed our friendship for over the past 20 years.
