Rev. Jermaine Tezeno, Pastor of Greater True Light Baptist Church, will be officiating the funeral service.
Mr. Vigers leaves to cherish his memories: his love of his life for 14 years, Consuella Lee of Eunice, LA; his mother, Sheila Redeau of Eunice, LA; five sons, Jmante Vigers of Elton, LA, Car’lin Vigers of Monroe, LA, Denali Malveaux of Houston, TX, Davyon Lee (Erica) of Iowa, LA and Donus Edwards, Jr. (Craniyha) of Orange, TX; three daughters, Jada Lee of Eunice, LA, Imari Mars of Crestview, FL and Veronica Edwards of Opelousas, LA; one brother, John T. (Lachana) Vigers of Eunice, LA; four sisters, Elaine Bellow and Michelle D. Beasley, both of Houston, TX, Latisha Freeman of Opelousas, LA and Meosha Chaney of Lafayette, LA; sixteen grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Mr. Vigers is preceded in death by: his father, John Lee Vigers; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Vigers; maternal grandparents, Jospeh Vallire and Laura Mae Redeau; his brother, Jonas Vigers; and uncles, Farrel, David and Donald Vigers.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2023 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Greater True Light Baptist Church.
