Elijah Ahmad Broadnax, 20 of Greensboro, NC passed Thursday, March 23, 2023. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m., Saturday, April 8, 2023 at Perry Spencer Funeral Home Chapel, Eden, NC.

Elijah Ahmad Broadnax, The Great, The Loved, The Magnificent, reached his spiritual plane of eternal life on Thursday, March 23, 2023, at his home in Greensboro, NC. He was born in Rockingham County to Clarence R. Broadnax, Jr. and Brenda Galloway Broadnax. Elijah soon moved to Greensboro, NC to start his journey of life.

Elijah attended Grimsley High School in Greensboro, NC and received his diploma in June of 2020 despite the challenges faced during the Corona Virus. He began his working experience with his first job at Rose's Superstore. There he learned the value of hard work, people skills and making his own money. He attended HVAC Training School and he received his certificate of completion on March 10, 2022. Shortly after, he worked for the City of Greensboro in the Field Operations Department, a job that he loved.

Elijah was preceded by his grandfather; Edgar J. Galloway, Sr., uncle; Elgar J. Galloway, Jr.

He leaves to cherish his memories: His parents; Clarence and Brenda Broadnax, sisters; Amari Me'Sean Broadnax and Megan Compton. grandmother; Lois Brim, Theresa Galloway, grandfather; Clarence R. Broadnax, Sr. (Carolyn), great-grandmother; Earlean Martin, aunts; Darlene Galloway, Diane Masey, Jamila Broadnax and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. As well as his high school sweetheart, the special lady of his life, Marisol L. Martinex, who loved him dearly.
