Obituary For Jennifer Thomas

OPELOUSAS – Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home in Opelousas, LA for Ms. Jennifer Thomas, 51, who entered eternal rest on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at her residence in Opelousas, LA. Interment will be in Garden of Memory Grove Cemetery in Opelousas, LA. Rev. Jason Rubin will be officiating the funeral service.

Ms. Thomas leaves to cherish her memories: her mother, Joyce Marie Kennerson Thomas of Opelousas, LA; one son, Javon Thomas of Houston, TX; one daughter, Krystal Thomas of Opelousas, LA; two brothers, James and Marco Thomas, both of Opelousas, LA; one bonus brother, Calvin “Pop” Collins of Opelousas, LA; two sisters, Tracy Pomier of Opelousas, LA and Liz Albert (Anthony) of Port Arthur, TX; one bonus sister, Sharon Richard of Opelousas, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Ms. Thomas is preceded in death by: her father, James Thomas; paternal grandparents, Martin and Viola Thomas; Leonce and Helen Kennerson; her step father, Clarence Collins; her Godfather, Paul Kennerson; and her aunt, Mary Smith.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home.
