Obituary For Ms. Ocie Williams

MOMMA’S OBITUARY

Ms. Ocie Lorenza Williams “ Loving Mother, sister, daughter, grandmother and Great grandmother”

Ms. Ocie Lorenza Williams was born in Naylor Georgia but resided with her daughter in Lake City Florida at the time of her passing. Her education was in Lowndes county and she eventually met and married a good man named Enoch Miller Jr. She was the daughter of the late Ocie Viola Wilkerson & Lorenzo “ Lee” Williams. She was a very hard working woman who could lay fiberglass on a boat better than some men! She was a fiberglass chopper gun handling woman from building boats from Well Craft, Sunbird, Bayliners and then onto even jacuzzi tubs. Her closest brother Wilkerson got her started in fiberglass and she mastered it! She never made excuses when it came to family & friends in times of need. When she liked you, you always got a smile from her. If she didn’t, she would let you know!

She is proceeded in death by her two brothers Wilkerson “ BJ “ & Nathaniel “ Nat”Bryant

She leaves to cherish her sweet memories a daughter Jennifer Williams ( Eugene ) of Lake City Florida and a son Milton Williams( Judy ) of prosperity South Carolina and her last remaining sibling Eula Kaye Holmes of Valdosta. She left to grieve 7 Grandchildren Jessica Laporsha Cooper of Valdosta Georgia, Chrisean Eugene Williams of Lake City Florida, Enochia Caprice Burnell ( Quentin) of Lake City Florida, Carlos Bradley ( Madine ) of Jacksonville Florida, Lakesha McCrae of Greensboro North Carolina, Torey Sims of Valdosta Georgia, and Eric Sims who we lost in the same month from Atlanta Georgia. Two special grands that she loved from the very beginning Miesha Williams & Tavoris Williams ( Lisa ) of Valdosta Georgia. One Special & Sweet Great-Granddaughter that was the sugar in her coffee, Jennifer Umoni Cooper of Valdosta Georgia and a very special niece Janmeshiska Jaquan Brown of Valdosta Georgia. Ocie left so many sisters-in-laws & brother-in-laws that never made her feel any different than blood. And so many loving nieces & nephews that she just adored! and a host of great friends that she enjoyed seeing and visiting. She will be missed in many many years to come.

Home going service for Ms. Williams will be held on Saturday, April 8, at 1:00 P. M. at St. Paul A. M. E. Church. Rev. James McKenzie is the pastor, and Rev. Andre Gambrell will officiate. Burial will follow in the Pallbearer Cemetery.
