Mrs. Janie Merritt, 94, was born on Sunday, August 26, 1928 and departed this life on Thursday, March 30, 2023.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2023 at Monument of Faith Church, 900 Simmons St., Durham, NC; visitation service from 11:30 am to 12:00 pm, funeral service at 12:00 noon. Burial will be held at Beechwood Cemetery.
