Ms. Wanda Beatrice Reid-Hough was born April 13, 1963 in Union County, NC. She received her formal education in the Anson County School System. She was a member of the Bowman Senior High Class of 1982.

She received Christ at an early age at Mount Zion Baptist Church of Polkton, NC.

Wanda departed this life on Monday, April 3, 2023. She is preceded in death by her son, Rickey Reid (Cracker); her father, Keith Price Reid; her mom, Clarissa Brewer Reid; four brothers, Dennis and Joe Glen Brewer, Kenneth and Reggie Reid; one sister, Annie Reid and a special friend, Roger Rorie.

She leaves to cherish her memory, four daughters, Reshanda Reid of Indian Trail, NC, Wanda Reid of Ansonville, NC, Shamicka Hough of Indian Trail, NC and Helenia Hough of the home; one son, Aaron Hough Jr. of Indian Trail, NC; two sisters, Brenda Reid (Larry) of Polkton, NC and Joletha Ross (Ray) of Polkton, NC; seven grandchildren, Ty’Shoun, Ty’Ron, Gizelle, Gilden, Jaylani, Shan’Tya and Ty’Ree. Two aunts, Betty Maske and Linda Reid; sisters-in-law, Regina Reid, Doris Reid and Gwendolyn Brewer; one special cousin, Jennie Mae Bivens. Special friends, Joe Wall, Patricia Little and Ellana Ledbetter. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

The Homegoing Services will be on Friday, April 14, 2023, 1:00pm, Smith's Memorial Chapel, 604 Salisbury Street, Wadesboro, North Carolina. Interment will be at Williams Cemetery, Polkton, North Carolina.
