Bernadine Briggs of Ellenboro, NC was born December 4, 1966 to Lee Norris Cannon and the late Betty Lowrance Neely . She departed this life on April 3, 2023 at Rutherford Hospital. She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Lowrance Neely, one brother, Clarence Jonathan Briggs Jr. Bernadine leaves to cherish her memories; two daughters, April Tutt (Tim) of Bostic, NC and Tammie Stroud (Marvin) of Ellenboro, NC, two sons, Hugh McCoy Jr. (Monica) of Forest City, NC and Marcus McCoy of Ellenboro, NC, twelve grandchildren, one great grandchild, her father, Lee Norris Cannon (Mildred), six brothers, Casey Briggs (Tammy) of Forest City, NC, Galen Briggs (Natana) of Rutherfordton, NC, Terrance Briggs of Forest City, NC, Tieven Cannons of Jonestown, PA, Quinn Cannon (Monet) of Seattle, WA., Joshua Cannon of Helena, Ala.
