Obituary For Janie Mathis

Ms. Janie Mathis, of Grand Ridge, Florida transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on Sunday, April 2, 2023, at River Valley Rehabilitation Center, in Blountstown, Florida.

Graveside Homegoing Celebration of Life services will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at 11:00 CST from the cemetery of St. Rose African Methodist Episcopal Church located at 660 Holmes Court in Grand Ridge, Florida 32442, with Reverend Joe Tripp, officiating.

Ms. Mathis will lie in repose at the cemetery from 10:00 AM until time for the service.

She leaves to cherish a lifetime of fond, yet precious memories, a loving and devoted family:

Five Sisters: Willie Ruth Allen and Ann Spears both of Sneads, Florida; Dianne Fletcher of Bristol, Florida; Rev. Patricia Mathis and Virginia Jackson both of Chattahoochee, Florida

Three Brothers: Lawrence (Lillian) Baker of Grand Ridge, Florida; Morgan (Mary) Spears of Chattahoochee, Florida and Anthony Mathis of Sneads, Florida

And a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many dear friends.
